This gallette equals autumn – it´s with plums, pears, figs, walnuts and cinnamon. And it is not even too unhealthy ?
RECIPE
Dough:
- 2 and 1/2 cups wholegrain flour
- 200g ghee
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
Fruit:
- 600g plums
- 1 pear
- 1 fig
- 50g walnuts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp amaretto
Mix all ingredients for dough together and let rest in fridge for 30 min. Mix fruit with walnuts, honey and cinnamon. Roll the dough, top with the fruit and fold the edges. Bake for 1 hour at 180 Celsius degrees. Crop with autumn rain ??. OK, you don’t need to fulfill the last step.
PS: In the recipe I used ghee instead of regular butter. Did you know that ghee does not contain lactose or casein and is therefore suitable for people with intolerance to one of these? These recipes will be labeled “dairy-free”, which is not really correct, but for easier labeling of the blog, I want ghee recipes to be among those that are suitable for dairy intolerance.
